Gen. Keith Alexander Expected to be Named Cyber Chief
Defense Secretary Robert Gates is expected to name three-star Gen. Keith Alexander to head the newly formed Cyber Command.
The new command, expected to open in October in Fort Meade, Md., will protect military and civilian networks. Alexander is currently in the role of Joint Functional Component Command for Network Warfare.
Among Alexander’s priorities is to improve the speed with which U.S. Cyber defenses can detect intrusions. Read more here

The DOD has mandated Trusted computing. No more stealing Social Security Numbers, bank info, etc. When implemented, we can all feel comfortable about info we don’t want stolen.
