NCSA Board of Directors Welcomes Google

Eric Davis, head of anti-malvertising is representing Google on the National Cyber Security Alliance’s (NCSA) board of directors. Davis, who has spent 15 years in the marketing and consumer education industries, is a leader at Google in creating policies and procedures to protect the company’s network, products and customers. He said, “For Google, there is no higher priority than the safety and security of our users…We look forward to becoming an active member on the NCSA board and helping users more safely enjoy all the benefits the Internet has to offer.”

The NCSA aims to co-ordinate government, corporate, nonprofit, and educational groups to enable internet users to be both savvy and safe. The current NCSA board consists of representatives from Cisco, McAfee, Microsoft, EMC, SAIC and Symantec among others.  

Michael Kaiser, executive director of NCSA said, “The NCSA is proud to welcome Google, one of the foundational pillars of the Internet, to its board of directors…We look forward to partnering with Google as we plan and implement new comprehensive education and awareness efforts. Google’s unique perspective will be invaluable.”
