Navy to Create Cyber Command

The Navy will set up a coordinated cyber command to improve cyber capabilities, according to the Chief of Naval Operations.

The National Archives and Records Administration may have sent out a disk with confidential information on 70 million veterans, and the incident has been referred to the inspector general for investigation.
A defective hard drive was allegedly sent back to the vendor for repair without being wiped of data.

On Thursday, Janet Napolitano announced DHS has been authorized to hire up to 1,000 cybersecurity professionals.
