Iranian Cyber Army Strikes Again

The group of hackers that attacked Twitter last month have struck again. The group, calling itself the Iranian Cyber Army hacked and defaced the home page of Baidu.com, a Chinese search engine, according to an article on The Register.

The defacement, which occurred on Monday night, showed a picture of an Iranian Flag along with the words “This site has been hacked by Iranian Cyber Army.” The hack was also rumored to involve alterations to Baidu’s DNS records, though this cannot be confirmed at this time.

The site was cleaned by Tuesday morning. Baidu is the largest search engine used in China, receiving millions of visits each day.
