Job Description
You will be responsible for leading a team of Information Technology Specialists who perform work that supports the design, documentation, development, modification, testing, installation, implementation, and support of new or existing applications software. These duties can include the planning and delivery of application software services; review and approval of technical requirements; development of new software design methods; design, development, and management of systems that enhance and optimize existing software; analysis and resolution of complex issues affecting software design; translation and interpretation of IT policies, standards, and guidelines for software design; development, implementation, and provision of guidance for software testing; development of guidance to improve the quality of the testing process and the reliability and predictability of test results; debugging of large and complex application programs; management of nationwide IT projects; and serving as a liaison between customers and vendors and IT management throughout the development process.
