Melissa Hathaway to Serve as Security Adviser to Cisco
The New New Internet has learned Melissa Hathaway, president of Hathaway Global Strategies and the former acting senior director for cyberspace within the National Security Council, will join Cisco as a senior adviser to the security team.
Hathaway previously led the 60-Day Cyberspace Policy review for the Obama administration.
On Thursday, February 4 at 2 p.m. PST, Cisco will introduce Hathaway in a broadcast via the Internet. It can be accessed here. During the webcast, Hathaway will discuss public-private collaboration. Additionally, it will cover Cisco’s role in cybersecurity, advanced security technology and current threat trends.
