Job Description
A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with a concentration in Information Security. Several years experience in an information technology information security/assurance or several years of applied experience as an information system security officer. Familiarity with DCID 6/3, DCID 6/9. Familiar with typical Project Management Processes. Must have experience with briefing, writing reports, and the ability to communicate effectively to Technical and Non-technical officials at all levels, on Information Security issues. Familiar with several modern operating systems (Microsoft, Solaris, Red Hat LINUX, McIntosh, etc.). Familiar with the OSI and TCP/IP networking models. Familiar with resources that provide current assessments on information assurance threats and vulnerabilities. Familiar with corporate E-mail services (Exchange, Lotus Notes, Eudora, etc.) Familiar with LAN networking protocols, WAN networking protocols, IEE 802.11 standards, and wireless LANs.
