By Light, InZero Team Up to Fight Cyber Attacks

Tech companies By Light Professional IT Services and InZero Systems are forming a joint venture in an effort to quickly expand the federal government’s capacity to defend against cyber attacks. The joint venture, termed By Light-InZero, will provide support, testing and contracting capabilities for clients in the defense and intelligence sectors.

InZero Systems, headed by Louis R. Hughes, has created technology which blocks cyber attacks on computer systems. By Light Professional IT Services, headed by Lieutenant General Robert Donahue, is an established government contractor.

“Our technology is essentially what the Administration and Congress have been calling for,” Hughes said. “We are fundamentally changing the architecture of the personal computer to create an unprecedented level of security and control.”

General Wesley Clark, chair of the board at InZero, said “This is a vitally important development for our national defense and for the protection of this nation’s critical infrastructure.”

“The cyber challenges to this country’s security are growing by the day,” said Donahue. “We are delighted to be teaming up with such an innovative company whose sophisticated engineering solutions are so urgently needed by federal agencies as well as by major corporations.”
