Cybersecurity Malaysia Launched Workshop to Secure Wireless Networks

Beginning today, CyberSecurity Malaysia will host a five-day workshop focusing on securing wireless networks in order to better secure the nation.

The Computer Network and Wireless Communications Workshop, held in collaboration with Universiti Putra Malaysia’s (UPM)Department of Communication Technology and Network, Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology, is titled “Secured Wireless Network Towards Secured Nation.”

The workshop will include demonstrations of the vulnerabilities inherent in wireless networks and will include discussions on security research and required support.

“The collaboration between CyberSecurity Malaysia and UPM will foster a stronger relationships between the industry players and the research fraternity,” said CyberSecurity Malaysia Chief Executive Officer, Lt. Col. (Rtd) Husin Jazri. “This is apart from enabling a high and comprehensive level of consultancy in security services.”
