German Arrested for Hacking Webcams

A man was arrested in Germany for allegedly using malware to hack into webcams and spy on young girls, a spokesman with the Aachen state prosecutor said Friday.

The unnamed hacker allegedly tapped into the webcams of some 150 young girls, according to media reports. The hacking was first discovered by Thomas Floß, from the association of data protection advisors, who speaks with school students regarding cyber hygiene.
