CyberSecurity Malaysia and stratsec Australia have signed an agreement to allow the Australian company to set up in Malaysia under the Malaysian Common Criteria Evaluation and Certification (MyCC) Scheme. Stratsec Australia is a information security and risk consulting services provider.
The agreement was signed between tratsec chief executive officer Peter Lilley and CyberSecurity Malaysia chief executive officer Lt. Col. (Rtd) Husin Jazri.
“The collaboration between CyberSecurity Malaysia and stratsec will increase assurance between Australian and Malaysian trade and highlight such beneficial relationships to existing businesses,” said Malaysia Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Dr. Maximus Johnity Ongkili.
The scheme, called MyCC Scheme and operated by CyberSecurity Malaysia, looks to build the national cybersecurity industry through evaluating and certifying the security functionality of information and communications technology (ICT) products.
