ManTech to Work with FBI on Cybersecurity
ManTech International Corporation has received a contract with the FBI’s security division to provide cybersecurity services to the bureau. The contract is worth a potential $99.5 million over a five-year period.
ManTech will be responsible for providing cybersecurity support 24/7, including intrusion-detection monitoring, incident identification and response, security engineering, vulnerability assessment and penetration testing, cyber-threat analysis and specialized cyber training services. The company plans to bring in new security technologies and utilize ISO 9001-compliant security processes.
“Based on our long experience in cybersecurity and supporting the FBI, we understand the significant role of this effort to the FBI’s mission and to national security,” said Bill Varner, president, ManTech’s Mission, Cyber and Technology Solutions group. “We look forward to supporting the FBI with world-class cybersecurity capabilities to further enhance its preparedness and ability to respond to internal and external cyber threats.”
