Wyle Nabs Piece of $450M Award to Support USAF with Cyber Architectures, Training, Defense

Technology company Wyle Information Systems has been awarded a share of a $450 million contract to support the USAF Space Command in Colorado Springs, Colo., with cyber architectures, formal cyber training and cyber defense.

“This award is a logical extension of the services and solutions Wyle provides to Space Command,” said Tom Anderson, group president of Wyle Information Systems. “Wyle’s long-standing partnership with the Air Force will now be expanded through support on the Contract for Space and Missile Capabilities contract. Our primary role on this contract will be the development of cyber architectures, formal cyber training and cyber protection of our national assets.”

The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with Odyssey Systems Consulting Group supports the Space Command at Peterson Air Force Base, and consists of advisory and assistance services; management and professional services; studies, analyses and evaluations; and engineering and technical services.

Future task orders within the $450 million contract will be competed among four teams. The new contract is a replacement for Space Command’s Contracted Advisory and Assistance Services and Engineering and Technical Assistance contract, ending Sept. 30.
