IT and cybersecurity provider Paradigm Holdings, Inc. has been awarded a 5-year, $14 million subcontract from OnPoint Consulting, Inc. to support the Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration Information Assurance Response Center.

“We are excited to be a part of the OnPoint team in support of the IARC mission to protect and monitor NNSA’s critical systems, said Peter B. LaMontagne, Paradigm president and CEO. “This is a customer mission and program that we have long admired and we look forward to supporting their continued success.”

NNSA’s Information Assurance Response Center monitors all activity going through the Nuclear Security Complex computer firewall system, providing intrusion detection and event forensics. It was established by Congress in 2000 as a separately organized agency within the Department of Energy. Its main responsibility is to manage the security of the nation’s nuclear weapons, nuclear non-proliferation, and naval reactor programs. It also responds to nuclear and radiological emergencies domestically and abroad.
