DLT Solutions Exec Honored for Commitment to Community

DLT Solutions Vice President of Marketing Christine Schaefer has received the Heroines in Technology Award for balancing her demanding role in the technology sector with significant contributions to the community.
As a winner in the award’s Individual Heroine category, Schaefer’s volunteer work ranges from roofing homes with Habitat for Humanity to building a school in rural Venezuela to making quilts for premature babies in the Fairfax Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She was also recently selected by Everything Channel’s CRN Magazine as one of the top Women of the Channel.
The black-tie gala was held Nov. 12, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Reston, Va., and included a cocktail reception, dinner, live band, dancing and live and silent auctions. March of Dimes organized the event with AFCEA NOVA.
Proceeds from the event, which totaled $168,000, support local March of Dimes programs of research, community services, education and advocacy.
