ManTech scooped up another hefty contract today.
The federal government awarded the Fairfax, Va., IT security firm a five year, $9.2 million contract to provide cybersecurity for the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Under the contract, ManTech will supply the FBI with security policies, procedures, training and planning, and manage security for FBI communications.
The award follows previous contracts with the FBI, including a $99.5 million cybersecurity services contract with the FBI’s Security Division and a potential $30 billion FBI IT Supplies and Support Services contract.
In a statement, President and Chief Operating Officer of ManTech’s Mission, Cyber and Technology Solutions group, L. William Varner said, “ManTech’s previous work with the FBI, and our deep understanding of cybersecurity will enable us to develop and implement world-class cybersecurity practices that will help protect FBI networks.”
