Gerry Simone Joins Executive Mosaic as Editor-in-Chief

The New New Internet’s publisher Executive Mosaic announced Gerry A. Simone has taken the reins as editor-in-chief and will provide editorial direction for the company’s online news sites as well as a quarterly print publication.
“Gerry is an accomplished and trusted adviser in online and print media,” said Executive Mosaic CEO and Publisher Jim Garrettson. “We are delighted to have Gerry on board to take Executive Mosaic’s growing media properties to the next stage and to continue to build upon an already strong readership.”
Prior to joining Executive Mosaic, Simone spent the past decade on the other side of the business, securing high-profile coverage for government contractors and technology companies in top national financial and trade media and advocating for the right story to be told.

Under Simone’s leadership, GovConExec magazine will soon launch its March issue showcasing leading government contractors’ perspectives on cloud computing. She will also provide editorial direction for more than five daily online news sites, including GovConWire.com, TheNewNewInternet.com, ExecutiveGov.com, ExecutiveBiz.com and GovConExecutive.com.
