Wombat Appoints Joe Ferrara President, CEO
Wombat Security Technologies has named Joe Ferrara president and CEO, succeeding Dr. Norman Sadeh, who remains as chairman of the board and chief scientist.
“It’s an exciting time in Wombat’s history, and I am thrilled to lead the company forward,” Ferrara said. “We are poised for significant growth this year and are looking to capitalize on the momentum of the company.”
Ferrara’s past experience includes roles as president, CEO and chairman of Tollgrade Communications, CEO of Marconi Communications North America and general manager of Ericsson’s Wireless Software & Services and Routing & Switching Divisions.
“Having someone with Joe’s experience and background as CEO is a validation of our success to date,” Sadeh said. “We are thrilled to have Joe on board to drive and lead our future growth.”
