Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC) has completed its acquisition of privately held Clearwell Systems Inc., which is now a part of Symantec’s Information Management Group.

The acquisition of Clearwell brings together the industry’s archiving, backup and eDiscovery offerings to provide customers with comprehensive information management solutions, Symantec said in a release.

Estonian Telecom Services Provider Fights Off Cyber Attack

An unidentified hacker launched a cyber attack against Estonian telecom service provider Elion’s email system, attempting to gain access to 70,000 client accounts, Estonian Public Broadcasting reports.
