Data Center World opens in Orlando today and runs through Sept. 14. AFCOM’s conference and expo will explore core issues of the industry today including cloud computing, cybersecurity, facility cooling, energy management, disaster recovery and data storage problems.
This years conference hosts presentations from leading data centers such as GE Energy, Intel Corporation, CA Technologies and keynote speaker John Patrick, president of Attitude LLC and former vice president of Internet Technology at IBM.
Additionally, AFCOM’s Data Center Institute will be release a new report titled, “How to Stay in Business: A Data Center Institute Report on Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity,” outlining objectives and responsibilities that data center managers need in place in order to safeguard data during cyberattacks or natural disasters.
