HP Research Shows the Growing Role of Applications and Mobile Innovation

HP released global research that shows how critical of a role applications are beginning to play in enabling innovation and driving business growth. Research shows that two primary ways organizations are adding new value is by integrating applications and supporting mobility.

According to the research, completed by Coleman Parkes Research on behalf of HP, enterprises must gain control over aging applications and rigid processes as shown by 68 percent of enterprises and 73 percent of the U.S. public sector organizations’ belief that innovation will become more critical over the next two years.

HP reported that less than half of the businesses surveyed saw their companies holding the skill level and resources to fully support critical areas such as mobility and integration on their own. This would imply that a partner is needed in order to assist companies, but less than a quarter of surveyed businesses are making use of a partner.
