SAP’s Latest Apps Help Mobilize Human Resources

 SAP AG has announced a series of new HR-based mobile apps in an effort to assist managers and employees better execute HR-based requests while on-the-go.  This resource is expected to increase productivity and better connect the always-on workforce with real-time mobile capabilities. 

The new applications assist in interviewing job candidates, entering and approving leave requests, managing employee performance and accessing corporate Key Performance Indicators. Applications to come include SAP Manager Insight, SAP Interview Assistant, SAP Employee Lookup, SAP Leave Request, SAP Timesheet and SAP HR Approvals. All the apps will run on the Sybase Unwired Platform.

“With these mobile HR apps, SAP strengthens its commitment to the mobile space and the improved availability of HR processes that allows employees to increase their productivity while working on-the-go,” said David Ludlow, group vice president, Human Capital Management, SAP. “We are pleased to offer these apps to our customers, who in turn can help ensure the best possible enablement and support for their workforce.”
