Rockwell Collins Introduces New Mobile and Online App

Rockwell Collins recently introduced its new mobile and online applications for its Ascend flight information solutions. The new applications will give business aircraft operators global access to a fully integrated information management solution that seamlessly streamlines all aspects of flight operations which include pre-flight scheduling, flight planning and closeouts.

“These enhancements elevate the unique advantage that Ascend brings to flight departments, especially as flight operations become increasingly more complex,” said Steve Timm, vice president and general manager of Flight Information Solutions for Rockwell Collins.

The application provides access to the Ascend Flight Manager online performance-based flight tool. Its electronic expense report feature allows users to take pictures of receipts and immediately submit them electronically for greater workflow efficiency.
