CIBER Launches Mobility App For Salespeople On-the-Go
CIBER has launched a mobile sales application today that aims to give salespeople on-the-go a way to work more easily and productively. The app culminates real-time account, product and activity information from the SAP ERP and SAP customer relationship management application to Apple iPhones or iPads.
The app provides salespeople with locations, maps, contact information and store-finder functionality to connect with customers. The solution is built on Sybase Unwired Platform and allows access to:
- Product catalogs and product details
- Customer records, such as latest order and invoices
- A shopping basket for creating sales orders and sales quotes
- An invoice display
- Analyses, KPI reports and more
“Many organizations have not yet identified how to leverage current investments in ERP and CRM software beyond corporate walls and make such systems available to employees who work remotely,” said Michael Niestroy, the CIBER director of innovation in Australia. “Customers can benefit from the investment we’ve made and incorporate the mobile sales app with little integration effort into their SAP environments.”
