Alion to Showcase Military Apps/Simulators at Technology Conference

Alion Science and Technology is set to showcase their new smart phone Army training programs and simulations at a technology conference in late November.

Alion, a technology solutions provider, will feature some of its high tech devices at the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference from Nov. 28 to Dec. 1 in Orlando, Fla.

Some of the mobile applications developed for the U.S. Army Training Brain Operations Center include training on how to take care of a wounded soldier, land navigation, humvee maintenance, proper dress code, and even how to deconstruct a M4 weapons system in 3-D. A list of these applications can be found here.

In addition to the mobile applications, Alion will also feature what they call “Damage Control Trainer,” which was developed in partnership with Raytheon BBN Technologies as a way to train recruits via “serious game” simulations.

Other “serious game” simulations provided by Alion include terrain generation and interloper ability capabilities, the P-3 Aircrew Tactical Team Trainer, a PC-Based trainer which allows combat aircrews to practice anti-submarine warfare missions and international M&S capabilities including Adaptive Leader training support.

At the conference, Alion will be joined by some of the industries leading technology providers in addition to their partners Zebra Imaging and Stilman Advanced Strategies.
