Red Hat, Inc. today announced new capabilities for Java developers using the OpenShift Platform-as-a-Service. OpenShift allows Red Hat to offer PaaS, built on open source technologies that enable developers to quickly develop and deploy applications on the cloud.
“With these latest updates to the OpenShift platform to extend its reach into Java, developers can focus more on their application instead of on the stack,” said Mark Little, senior director of Middleware Engineering at Red Hat. “Now, OpenShift takes code from your favorite IDE, resolves and loads dependencies, compiles, deploys and scales your application, all in the cloud.”
