Raytheon BBN to Develop Program to Document Emerging Scientific Literature
Raytheon BBN, a subsidiary of Raytheon Co., has been selected to develop a program that expands the recognition and awareness of emerging technologies in published scientific, technical and patent literature, the company announced.
BBN will develop the program under a $5.2 million contract with the Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity.
The Foresight and Understanding from Scientific Exposition program, will use analytical techniques and algorithms to identify and locate topics in a variety of printed materials.
Upon location, the program is expected to identify specific areas which are likely to develop into major technical solutions in the future.
