Kratos Wins Prime SPAWAR C4I Engineering Contract

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions Inc. has won a prime contract to provide engineering and technical services for command, control, communications, computers and intelligence (C4I) programs for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command, Kratos announced Monday.

The contract is potentially worth $40 million over one base year and four one-year options.

Kratos said it will provide SPAWAR’s Systems Center, Pacific with:

  • test and evaluation support
  • independent verification and validation
  • configuration management
  • web site maintenance

“SPAWAR and SSCPAC represent some of Kratos’ valued, long-term customers,” said Dave Carter, president of Kratos’ defense engineering solutions unit. “We’re pleased to have the opportunity to continue to execute our strategy to expand our support for C4I systems throughout the U.S. fleet.
