Labor Dept. Seeking Network Ops, IT Support Provider

The Labor Department’s office of information systems and technologies is seeking a contractor to provide network operations center and information technology support.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is for five years excluding options, according to a modified request for proposals posted Thursday.

The RFP did not disclose the ceiling amount of the award.

DOL said the contract is intended to support the Employment and Training Administration’s objectives.

The awardees will provide systems administration and engineering and program and project management services.

DOL said it is also seeking help desk services and support for:

  • Local area and wide area networks
  • Data centers
  • Web, database, and Unix administration
  • Application infrastructure

The department’s office of financial and administrative management leads OIST.
