General Dynamics Releases New Smart Information Displays for Military Vehicles

General Dynamics‘ C4 Systems’ Canada subsidiary announced Tuesday it has introduced a New SD8010 Smart Display for rugged terrain vehicles.

The new device operates on a flexible platform while enabling processing of both classified and unclassified information on one display.

General Dynamics said the display’s compact design makes it ideal for ground combat vehicles that have limited space and heightened security features.

Additional features include touch screen capabilities, multiple video and audio input channels, streaming and snapshot video capture, multiple vehicle-bus interfaces, wireless communications, VoIP capabilities, embedded ground-based GPS receiver application module multiple I/O ports and a solid-state hard drive.
