A British health charity has selected Hewlett-Packard to provide its cloud technology to 300 facilities, the company announced Tuesday.
HP Converged Infrastructure will provide a centralized infrastructure-as-a-services platform to Nuffield Health and the company expects 300,000 users to access the cloud.
Nuffield Health operates 31 private hospitals, 65 fitness and well-being centers and six medical centers in Britain.
The foundation also works with more than 1,600 businesses to support their employee well-being programs and employs 13,000 staff.
HP will provide cloud technology for server management, network bandwidth allocation and storage and management of applications.
The company is also helping the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs implement digital healthcare information sharing.
