DLT, Eucalyptus Partner to Deploy Cloud Platform; Brian Strosser Comments
DLT Solutions and Eucalyptus Systems have teamed to provide a solution that government agencies will use to assemble on-premise cloud computing platforms, the companies announced tuesday.
Users will deploy private and hybrid infrastructure-as-a-service platforms while utilizing existing information technology infrastructure.
Federal agencies are looking for solutions to consolidate their data center operations, said Brian Strosser, DLT’s senior vice president for strategy and business development.
Eucalyptus will also utilize updated infrastructure virtualization software to build pliable pools which can be augmented or deflated depending on application workload.
The companies originally announced their plans to partner in November last year.
