Mitre Hosting DISA Industry Seminar On Mobile Device, Application Management

Mitre Corp. is hosting an industry seminar at its Annapolis Junction, Md. headquarters, where the Defense Information Systems Agency will meet with vendors to discuss mobile device management.

In a Tuesday FedBizOpps post, DISA said it also wants industry to provide best commercial practices for a mobile application store and securing both company-owned and employee-owned devices.

The seminar will take place between June 12 and 14.

DISA said contractors should provide information on over-the-air electronic software distribution of applications, remote data-wipe, remote device configuration management, and property management for protection against devices being compromised.

Written responses to the request for information are due June 7.
