Wyle has won a contract perform research and development work for the U.S. Coast Guard’s command and control systems.
Under a $1.5 million contract, the company said it will provide engineering and technical research, development and analysis for command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance combat systems.
Through a previous contract, the company provided technical and acquisition recommendations, evaluated design concepts and specification requirements, developed metrics for design maturity and provided data for maintenance.
The combat system contains command and control weapons, fire control, surveillance and reconnaissance systems for ships.
Sensors provide and display data and navigation equipment that delivers information about a ship’s location.
