Northrop Grumman will provide the Air Force with engineering services for surveillance radar systems, the Defense Department announced Monday.
Under a $35 million contract, the company will work with radars on the E-3.
Work will occur in Anne Arundel County, Md. and the Pentagon expects the work to finish by Dec. 31, 2016.
Tinker Air Force Base, Okla. is the contracting activity for the firm-fixed-price contract.
The company recently developed a new propulsion system for its Joint Stars surveillance plane and also completed the first test flight with the system on board.
