The Pentagon has requested a cyber threat simulation program that would be able to train and assess federal cyber employees, reports NextGov.
The hope is that an interactive training program gives the federal cyber workforce an opportunity to combat a threat, see how attackers exploit system vulnerabilities and take advantage of contract databases.
The Department of Defense is accepting bids from August 27 through September 26.
According to a small business tender that spoke with NextGov, a new program will help assess team effectiveness and train new DoD cyber trainees.
