SAP CEO Jim Snabe: Company’s Mobile App Expansion Aimed for Apple Devices

SAP CEO Jim Snabe sees a future expansion in mobile applications for businesses and the company is expanding its applications portfolio to run on Apple devices, he told Bloomberg in an interview.

Snabe said the business management software firm has developed a new Sybase Unwired Platform, where developers create paid apps through SAP’s mobile app store.

He also told Bloomberg 100 software developers participating in the pilot for the app store.

The company will also release new tools for creating and managing apps in the next few months, according to the report.

Ricadela reports SAP also plans to release Neo, an online development tool where companies customize the look and feel of SAP applications on smartphones, tablets and personal computers.
