Lockheed Martin has released a new cloud computing offering to offer customers choices between hybrid, community or private cloud infrastructures.

The company said SolaS Hybrid Cloud came from technologies produced by its partners in the Lockheed Martin Cyber Security Alliance including Cisco, Intel, McAfee, NetApp and VMware.

Verizon joined the alliance last week and plans to provide its findings from a 2012 analysis of cyber threats.

“NetApp and Cisco FlexPod based on Intel Trusted Execution Technology was selected as a secure infrastructure foundation to support Lockheed Martin’s SolaS hybrid and private clouds, said Mark Weber, NetApp’s president of the U.S. public sector.

Customers use a single storefront to acquire cloud services from Lockheed’s private and community clouds and other partner public cloud providers.

The system is designed to automate end-to-end services and provide visibility to all cloud assets, as well as give customers flexibility in acquisition choices.
