A Kratos Defense & Security Solutions‘ business group will help one of the nation’s largest public power providers protect its information assets, the company announced Monday.
SecureInfo, Kratos’ cybersecurity group, will provide the utility with its RMSsoftware product and related services for information security risk management efforts.
“SecureInfo continues to broaden its reach into the utility sector by helping enterprises meet their security and compliance objectives,” said Christopher Fountain, SecureInfo senior vice president. As part of the nation’s critical infrastructure, it is vitally important that these organizations understand their information security risk posture and comply with federal regulations.”
Fountain added the group will help the utility manage and address cyber threats.

The utility selected SecureInfo RMS after a review of the product which included a feature-by-feature comparison and simulation of the utility’s information technology environment.
SecureInfo will install, configure, support and provide training and subject matter expertise for the SecureInfo RMS product across the energy provider’s enterprise.
