Alion Science and Technology will provide modeling and simulation software development services to the Navy Warfare Development Command under a $63 million contract.

The company said it received this award to continue support of the Navy Continuous Training Environment under the Software, Networks, Information, Modeling and Simulation contract vehicle.

Work will also include helping build the NCTE architecture, integrating training systems integration, network engineering and research and development for fleet synthetic training and joint experimentation.

“Alion’s technical and subject matter experts will continue their support and commitment toward NWDC’s goal of providing realistic training of naval forces through FST events,” said Terri Spoonhour, Alion senior vice president and manager of the distributed simulation group.

The company has provided the command software development, systems integration, analysis and event support through technologies including C4I systems (command, control, communications and computers).
