InfoZen Inc. has won a $40 million firm-fixed-price contract to maintain websites and applications for NASA and migrate them to the cloud, according to Washington Technology
The deal comes under the Web enterprise service technologies blanket purchase agreement with one base year and four option years.
According to Nick Wakeman, the Rockville, Md.-based company will also provide software-as-a-service, platform and infrastructure services to NASA’s 140 online assets, including content management and search and collaborative solutions such as blogs and wikis.
NASA said industry and government partners, the public, media, students and researchers use both its internal and external web applications and websites.
InfoZen has done similar work with the U.S. government web portal, firstgov.gov, which is known as USA.gov.
