General Dynamics to Test Secret Amphibious Vehicle; Tommy Pruitt Comments

GD_TNNIGeneral Dynamics will begin testing a military vehicle for both land and water use in Charleston, S.C. in the next week, according to an Examiner article.

General Dynamics’ spokesman Tommy Pruitt said the new vehicle will be tested on March 4 and April 20 in a fresh water setting.

He added that the vehicle is not manufactured in General Dynamic’s force protection plant in Ladson, S.C.

The exact testing site and pictures of the top-secret vehicle will not be revealed to the public but once testing begins anyone will be able to take pictures.

According to the article, the Ladson plant manufactures MRAP vehicles.
