Lockheed Providing Foliage Radar to SOUTHCOM

Lockheed Martin deployed a reconnaissance radar to support the U.S. Southern Command‘s counterterrror and humanitarian assistance missions.

Lockheed Martin said the Tactical Reconnaissance and Counter-Concealment-Enabled Radar also supports disaster relief operations.

SOUTHCOM will operate the radar on the Army’s C-12 aircraft fleet.

Lockheed said the radar has completed more than 160 flight tests on manned and unmanned platforms.
