Mitchell L. Frost, who launched DDoS attacks on the websites of multiple conservative political leaders and a university, has been sentenced to 30 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
He was also ordered to pay $40,000 to billoreilly.com and $10,000 to the University of Akron, as well as $200 to the Crime Victims’ Fund.

Federal prosecutors have accused a man of launching distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks against the websites of conservatives Bill O’Reilly, Ann Coulter and Rudolph Giuliani.
Mitchell L Frost is accused of launching the attacks while an undergraduate at the University of Akron. The attacks occurred over a five day period in March 2008, according to court documents filed by the prosecutors office.
