Norton Schwartz outlined their budgetary priorities for cyberspace, including $104 million to support the Air Force&#8217;s involvement in Cyber Command, which will likely be headquartered at Fort Meade, MD.</p>
<p>The Air Force is tasked with attaining &#8216;cyber superiority.&#8217; As such, their FY11 budget request reflects the growing priority assigned to cyber capabilities. The request includes &#8220;$31M for expanded rapid cyber acquisition capabilities to keep pace with dynamic adversaries and fast-paced advances in technology.</p>
<p>In addition to the $104 million for Cyber Command, Donley and Gen Schwartz also requested an additional $15 million along with additional personnel within the next five years to increase law enforcement and investigative capabilities in cyberspace.</p>
