A California-based man who allegedly tried to swindle the government out of millions of dollars by using sophisticated hacking techniques and other conniving methods was indicted last week.

Nigeria Cracks Down on Cyber Crime

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Nigeria’s anti-corruption agency, reported 800 fraud emailers have been deactivated. Additionally, members of 18 cyber crime syndicates have been arrested.
