Credit Card Hacker to be Extradited

A court in Thailand has approved an extradition request from the U.S. for a Malaysian national accused of stealing credit card information. Gooi Kokseng, also known as Delpiero, is suspected of being involved in a crime ring accused of stealing approximately $150 million.

U.S. authorities filed an request with the Thai government who arrested Kokseng. If convicted, he could face up to one year in prison.

Hacker Edwin Andrew Pena of Miami has admitted to selling around 10 million minutes of VoIP calls for approximately $1 million, according to The Register.

Pena routed the VoIP calls over telecommunication networks under the radar.
