IBM Completes Purchase of Q1 Labs, Beefs Up New Security Division

IBM has finalized its acquisition of Q1 Labs for an undisclosed amount, less than a month after the company announced its intent to buy on Oct. 4.

Q1 Labs will join IBM’s newly formed security systems division, which integrates IBM’s Tivoli, rational and information management security software, appliances, lab offerings and services.
