Symantec‘s September 2011 intelligence report found that in the U.S., the public sector remained the most targeted by phishing activity with one in every 125.8 e-mails comprising a phishing attack.
The report also found that the public’s sector spam level was 74.5 percent, greater than all but the education sector, 77.2 percent, and the chemical and pharmaceutical sector, 74.6 percent.
