Quest Grabs Virtual Infrastructure Provider VKernal as New Subsidiary

Quest Software, Inc. announced that it has purchased the privately held company, VKernal, for an undisclosed amount. VKernal is a Boston, Mass. based company that provides virtualized infrastructure operations management.
VKernal’s products include those for virtualized data centers and cloud environments. The company will become a Quest subsidiary and continue to operate independently.
Quest Releases Toad for Cloud Databases
Quest recently released its Toad for cloud databases, which the company said addresses the shortage of skill-set and enables database professionals to directly apply their existing skills to emerging big data systems.
